📋 What is the Auction System?

The auction system is a dynamic trading platform where players can use their resources to win special containers. The system automatically starts a new auction every hour, creating exciting competition among players.

Each auction lasts between 30-50 minutes, and at the end, the player with the highest bid wins the container being auctioned. When containers are opened, they may contain items of various qualities or Dark Matter.

🎁 Container Qualities

There are 4 different quality containers in auctions. Each quality has different reward pools and values:

• 🥉 Bronze: The most common container type. May contain basic items and a small amount of Dark Matter (2,500 - 100,000).
• 🥈 Silver: Mid-tier container. May contain more valuable items and a medium amount of Dark Matter (100,000 - 250,000).
• 🥇 Gold: Rare container type. May contain high-quality items and a large amount of Dark Matter (250,000 - 500,000).
• 💎 Platinum: The rarest and most valuable container. May contain the most powerful items and a very large amount of Dark Matter (500,000 - 1,000,000).

💰 Bidding System

You can bid using 3 different resource types in auctions. Each resource has a different value multiplier:

Resource Type	Value Multiplier	Description
Metal	x 1.0	Base value. 1 Metal = 1 Point
Crystal	x 1.5	More valuable. 1 Crystal = 1.5 Points
Deuterium	x 3.0	Most valuable resource. 1 Deuterium = 3 Points

Bid Calculation Example:

Suppose you bid with the following resources:

• 10,000 Metal → 10,000 x 1.0 = 10,000 points
• 5,000 Crystal → 5,000 x 1.5 = 7,500 points
• 2,000 Deuterium → 2,000 x 3.0 = 6,000 points

Your Total Bid Value: 10,000 + 7,500 + 6,000 = 23,500 points

🎯 Auction Process

1. Auction Start: The system automatically creates a new auction every hour and determines a random container quality.
2. Bidding Period: The auction lasts between 30-50 minutes. Players can place as many bids as they want during this time.
3. Live Updates: Thanks to OGame.Life technology, all bids are updated instantly, and players can see the highest bid in real time.
4. Time Tracking: Remaining time is displayed in real time:
   • ● 20+ minutes → Green (Plenty of time)
   • ● 5-20 minutes → Orange (Be careful)
   • ● 0-5 minutes → Red (Last minutes!)
5. Auction End: When the time expires, the player with the highest bid automatically wins, and the container is added to their inventory when the next auction starts.
6. Next Auction: After an auction ends, the system waits to start a new one. The remaining time is displayed on the screen.

🎁 Container Contents

You can open the container you won from the inventory page. Each container may contain one of the following rewards:

🚀 Time Acceleration Items:

• Kraken: Speeds up ship and defense construction.
  • Bronze: 1 hour acceleration
  • Silver: 2 hours acceleration
  • Gold: 6 hours acceleration
  • Platinum: 12 hours acceleration
• Detroid: Speeds up building construction.
  • Bronze: 1 hour acceleration
  • Silver: 2 hours acceleration
  • Gold: 6 hours acceleration
  • Platinum: 12 hours acceleration
• Newtron: Speeds up research.
  • Bronze: 1 hour acceleration
  • Silver: 2 hours acceleration
  • Gold: 6 hours acceleration
  • Platinum: 12 hours acceleration

🌍 Area Expansion Items:

• Planet Fields: Increases your planet field count. Has a 96-hour (4-day) cooldown.
  • Bronze: +3 fields
  • Silver: +6 fields
  • Gold: +9 fields
  • Platinum: +12 fields
• Moon Fields: Increases your moon field count. Has a 96-hour (4-day) cooldown.
  • Bronze: +1 field
  • Silver: +2 fields
  • Gold: +4 fields
  • Platinum: +6 fields

🌟 Dark Matter Rewards:

Possible Dark Matter amounts from containers:

• Bronze Container: 2,500 - 100,000 Dark Matter
• Silver Container: 100,000 - 250,000 Dark Matter
• Gold Container: 250,000 - 500,000 Dark Matter
• Platinum Container: 500,000 - 1,000,000 Dark Matter

📊 Auction History

At the bottom of the auction page, you can view the history of the last 24 auctions. This section includes:

• Container Quality: Which quality container was auctioned
• Winning Bid: Total points of the winning bid
• Winning Player: Username of the player who won the auction
• End Date: Date and time the auction ended

If no bids were placed on an auction, it will show "Not sold".

💡 Strategy Tips

• Use Resources Wisely: Deuterium is the most valuable resource (3x multiplier). Prioritize it if you want to place a high bid with a small amount.
• Last-Minute Tactics: When the auction enters the last 5 minutes (red color), your competitors may place their final bids. Plan your strategy accordingly.
• Focus on Platinum Containers: Although rare, Platinum containers offer the highest value rewards. You can be more aggressive in these auctions.
• Review History: By looking at auction history, you can see average winning bids and plan your resources accordingly.
• Spread Bids: Instead of investing all your resources in one auction, spread them across multiple auctions to increase your chances of winning.
• Cannot Use in Vacation Mode: You cannot bid on auctions while your account is in vacation mode.

🔧 Technical Features

• OGame.Life Support: The auction system uses OGame.Life technology for real-time updates.
• Resource Security: Resources you bid are immediately deducted from your account and cannot be used elsewhere.
• Winner Determination: When the auction time expires, the system automatically determines the player with the highest bid.

📦 Inventory Management

Containers and other items you win are stored on your inventory page. On the inventory page:

• Item Types: All your items are displayed categorized.
• Quality Display: Each item's quality is indicated with colored borders (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum).
• Quantity Info: Shows how many of each item you have.
• Usage: Click an item to view details and use it with the "Activate" or "Open" button.
